FACE MASKS

Please wear a face mask if you have to visit the surgery for an face to face appointment with the GP or Nurse. The Surgery no longer supplies them to Patients. Thank you for your co-operation.

If you have travelled from a globally affected area or have been in contact with someone confirmed as having Coronavirus in the last two weeks, you may be at risk of Coronavirus.  Please do NOT leave the house.

 Prescription Collections:

Collection of prescriptions are available at the following times from the DISPENSARY window - DO NOT ENTER the surgery. 


Collection times are daily : 

10.30am - 12.30pm and 3.30pm- 5.30pm ONLY.

Greenodd prescription collection time will currently remain at the same time - 

Friday 11.30am- 12.30pm

All telephone calls to the surgery will be triaged by reception staff and telephone appointments will be booked accordingly with a GP.

 

Cervical Screening Scam Alert

If you have received a text message claiming to be from the call and recall service advising that an overdue screening is due DO NOT call the mobile number or give out any personal details.

General Data Protection Regulation

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a new law that determines how your personal data is processed and kept safe, and the legal rights that you have in relation to your own data.

Average earnings calculation for the year ended 31st March 2019

Declaration to be published on the practice website

All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.

The mean earnings for GPs working in Haverthwaite Surgery in the finacial year ended 31st March 2019 was £39,544 before deduction of employee's superannuation contributions, tax and National Insurance. This is the average pay for the 1 full-time GP and 1 part-time GP and 2 GP locums who worked in the practice for more than 6 months during that year.
